Traditionally, the Sicilian cannolo was prepared only during carnival time, but over time its success became such that presently it is found all year round. In Sicily the cannolo is the tube of the faucet where water runs, and it's just a rod that is used to package the wrapper,  containing cream, only that from the tap water flows while inside the cannoli flows ... the cream!
